Emily has been working with young people ever since university where she studied Theatre and Performance at the University of Surrey. She tailored her degree towards working with young people through her placement year with Stopgap Dance Company where she assisted in weekly youth classes. Upon graduating in 2019 Emily began working as a Theatre Youth Assistant at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester and alongside freelance projects and roles she is currently working in two roles focussed on empowering and connecting Young People in the East of England.
